In this interview, we explore her path, core beliefs, and the fashion philosophy that drives her thriving career.

What initially made you move to NYC? And how did you get to where you are today?

I’m from Ohio, born and raised, and I love my city deeply. But I knew I needed to challenge myself and truly find who I am. New York was the place where I believed I could do both. It’s a city where you can start over, redefine your own realities, find love, lose love, find yourself, and even lose yourself. New York is the greatest love story ever told, and I wanted to be a part of it.

Do you believe in fate and or destiny and how do you feel it has contributed to your career?

If fate means being brought into the presence of those who will champion my success and story, then yes, I have to believe in it. I know that only destiny has allowed the right people to come into my life, and I into theirs. I would be nothing without my community of chosen family, and the same goes for my career.

How important is community? Having one, nurturing it, and growing it.

Community is the foundation of both my career and my life. It means everything to me, and without it, I wouldn't be where I am today.

How do you market yourself? What strategies do you employ to build and maintain your brand?

I let my work speak for itself; that's how I market myself. I maintain my brand by not only doing good business but by building genuine relationships beyond just the professional sphere. Most, if not all, of the creators I work with are actual friends or people I want to know on a deeper level. I understand that they are more than just their jobs, and they see the same in me. My brand is simply about being solid and authentic.

You have impeccable style and taste. What is your fashion footprint? And how did it evolve?

My fashion footprint is something I'm still figuring out. I see my style as constantly evolving, just like I am. Who knows—I might have a completely new look by next month!

Your take on Fashion vs. Style?

Style is the person, Fashion is the clothes. You can have a lot of fashionable pieces but have zero style.

What do you think about the Atlas watch?

I LOVE IT!!

What piece of advice would you offer to anyone looking to take a leap of faith or start something new? What do you think is essential for them to keep in mind as they embark on their journey?

Start over as many times as you need to. I did.
