How did you first get started in modeling, and what inspired you to pursue this career?

My pursuit in fashion began with my background in sports. I was running track in college when I sustained an injury that limited me from competing. I was a bit down not being able to run or train so, I wanted to find something else to do to keep me occupied. That's when a photographer friend asked to photograph me. It all began from that moment and here we are now.

Can you describe your first major modeling job and how it impacted your career?

My first big photoshoot came from Abercrombie and Fitch. I remember driving 5 hours to LA for their denim campaign, this was my first time being in a space centered around fashion creatives. Many of the acquaintances I met that day are still friends whom I spend time with and work with to this day.

What has been the most rewarding aspect of your career?

The most rewarding aspect in this career has been the opportunity for growth that I've found in my journey, and working with my dream brands I draw inspiration from and being given the freedom to create my interpretation of the brand and share that with the people who follow my career.

What inspires you to continue growing and evolving in your career and personally?

I'm inspired by the vision of myself 5 years from now. When I look at 5 years ago to now, I've accomplished all the things that I sought after. so now I'm motivated by the idea that if I continue to aim even higher, I can unlock new potential that was once doubt.

What keeps you motivated amidst the challenges the industry could bring?

In a creative Industry you can't always expect yourself to wake up and provide quality work to the standard we hold ourselves to but it's important to remember to take time to draw inspiration from things that ground us. whether that be people in our lives or places dear to us. Without my loved ones, home, and adventures traveling I wouldn't be able to do what I do, so taking the time to pour into the people and things that I love excites me to build on those relationships and add new memories that will later aid in my story.

Are you feeling the watch? What do you think about it?

In love with the detail of the watch. down to the beautiful gold face, then to the crystals which add a voice to the watch. Been in love with the way it brings my outfit together. Having the wardrobe perfect for styling it up is great but receiving compliments on your accessories always adds a great feeling.

Any advice you would give?

Don't focus on what's expected, create at your own pace and let your creative expression, regardless from what industry, shine when it is ready.
